We are seeking a skilled LATHE AND MILLING CNC PROGRAMMER AND OPERATOR MACHINIST.
Machinist Requirements and Responsibilities
10 Years of experience programming, setting up, and operating CNC Lathe / Milling Machines in a jobbing shop environment.
Experience using Mastercam / Gibbscam / G codes (Mazatrol knowledge an asset)Change inserts and adjust offsets as needed to ensure parts are machined to specifications on drawing with efficiency
Setup tooling and fixturing based on CNC program requirements
Performs touch-offs and set tool and work offsets
Read interpret blueprints and understand GT&D
Use machinist-related measuring equipment
Making recommendation and improving job operations from your past experience
Use machinist related measuring instruments and equipment
Complete in-process inspection reports
Maintain clean safe working area, general housekeeping
5 plus years of experience in a job shop setting
Handle parts up to 50 lbs
Work well with people and team-oriented
Work Environment:
8 to 10 hour work days from Monday to Friday.
